Do I need special hardware?
No. It runs in the browser on a laptop, tablet or phone. A USB barcode scanner and a thermal printer are optional; the phone camera can scan too.
Is it GST compliant?
Yes. Tax invoices carry everything GST requires: HSN/SAC, place of supply, CGST/SGST or IGST, and the e-Invoice IRN and signed QR when you are registered for e-invoicing.
Where does the money from online payments go?
To your own bank account. Your account is verified once, and each online payment is transferred to it automatically.
Can I bring my existing data?
Yes. Import customers and items from a CSV file (Excel and Google Sheets can save as CSV). Invoice numbering can continue from your current series.
Can more than one person use it?
Yes. Add staff with their own logins: admins, accountants or view-only users. Every change is recorded in the activity log.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Your items and customers are kept on the device, so the counter keeps billing when the connection drops. Bills made offline are sent as soon as you are back online, and never twice. No internet at the shop at all? BillingPoint Desktop runs entirely on your computer and syncs your data with the website whenever it gets a connection (at least once a month).
Is it available in Hindi?
Yes. Anyone can switch the app between English and Hindi from the menu, so counter staff can work in the language they prefer.
Can I manage more than one business?
Yes. Add several businesses or firms under one login, each with its own GSTIN, invoice series and letterhead, and switch between them in a click.
